This pre-inoculated, all-in-one system is designed for ease and reliable results. Your bag has been inoculated before shipping and will continue to colonize at your location.
Colonization Stage
1. Give it some air!
Do not open your bag. Gently pull the bag’s sidewalls apart — this naturally draws in a small amount of clean, fresh air through the filter patch.
The filter is designed for safe gas exchange, so no need to fan or unseal it.
2. Shape for success!
From the outside of the bag, press down lightly but firmly on the block — start at the center and work outward to the sides. This helps fill air pockets and ensures an even surface for colonization.
Keep the top surface flat and avoid over-compressing.
Send love through your hands — the mycelium feels it.
3. Set and forget…
Place your bag in a clean, quiet area with indirect light.
Optimal temperature: 72–75°F (acceptable range: 60–80°F).
Avoid direct sunlight, moving the bag, or pressing on the block once shaped.
You’ll start seeing visible mycelial growth in under a week.
